Oregon Trail Academy is under new leadership! As of July 1, 2026, our OTA school board consists of all new members. Your voice matters to us. We welcome your insights and feedback to help guide decisions that best support our students, staff, and community.
We have created a survey that takes about 5 to 7 minutes. Your responses are completely anonymous. We are not collecting names or email addresses, so please share your honest thoughts. The board will review every response and share a summary of what we heard with the OTA community. The survey closes on October 1, 2026.

Mission
Our mission at Oregon Trail Academy is to create reflective, critical-thinking young people who see themselves as strong contributors to the world they live in.
The Board
Oregon Trail Academy is a free public charter school and International Baccalaureate World School in Boring, Oregon, in the foothills of Mt. Hood, serving students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school operates under a charter sponsored by the Oregon Trail School District and is governed by its own Board of Directors.

Meetings of the Board are open to the public in accordance with the Oregon Public Meetings Law, ORS 192.610 to 192.705. The Board holds its regular meetings on the first Tuesday of each month. Regular meetings are held in person at Oregon Trail Academy unless otherwise posted.
